Anyone else completely thrown off by the engines modeled? I know it’s a low-res photo in the preview, and taken from a funny angle, but my gosh! I thought they were JT3C’s until i zoomed in and saw the blow-in doors and the sort of thrust reverser bucket things at the back. Then I thought it they must be the Conways, but it’s not a -400, it’s the -320C. So they MUST be the well know JT3D’s, but they absolutely look nothing like that! We’ll see when there’s more previews I suppose… 
Then there’s the much bigger matter I’m concerned about, the sounds!!! I really hope they get it right!
You are exactly like me. My main first criteria is the sound. I advised twice MS et AH to make it correct otherwise it’s not a good B707. So I have to hear the sound before buying.
I wonder if the engine intakes look strange because the sunlight is hitting the aircraft from the front. So there’s essentially zero shadow happening anywhere it seems on the fuselage or the engine pods. It’s very diffuse, maybe just an MSFS24 sunset thing. Anyway, those air intake doors are currently closed, in an open configuration at high thrust settings they would fold inwards and look like this:
This photo shows the aircraft at pretty much the same angle as the 707 thumbnail shot from the MSFS24 aircraft list, on comparison I wouldn’t say they are far off, I think we just need to have a closer look at it to be sure…actually the more I look at it the more I think I’m going to double back on what I’ve said and say that I don’t think they’ve accurately got the look of the engines, if indeed THESE are the engines they are going for!
This has probably been asked multiple times but does anyone have an estimated time of the 707s release?

Thank goodness me, I’ve been waiting to fly the 707 for over 3 MONTHS. So the thought of it being delayed till 2025 is indescribable
I just did, I wasn’t sure of the exact date.
Usually new item are released at 11am EST. It’s planned for today 24th.

You know what I hate much about youtuber. They never let us hear the sound of the engines at least once in the stream. I have to listen 20 streams before finding one correct. As sound is my main criteria, I don’t mind about the system, I just want to hear the engines. But most youtuber don’t pay attention to that and when the show a very nice outside view, they put annoying music ! I don’t know about you but if you are about to stream the B707, please let us hear all the sounds please.
To date I didn’t find a decent stream to hear correctly the B727.
I absolutely will, I’m reviewing everything on the aircraft, sound, systems, external model etc etc and I’ll make multiple videos on it too such as runway performance doing historical things (such as the infamous barrel roll) and ofc doing full flights!
