Bright, Blurry Screens in ES-30


ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: FMS screens get very bright and blurry when zooming in on them.

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue: Heart Aerospace ES-30.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Start passenger flight in career mode in the ES-30.
  2. Trying zooming in to adjust settings on FMS.
  3. Icons are extremely blurry and get very bright when zoomed in.

Are you using DLSS as antialiasing ?, if yes, then try TLAA.

Moved to Sim Update 1 Beta | MSFS 2024 since mentioned in 1st post.

Just went and double checked that DLSS was still off, and it is. I hadn’t noticed it this bad until the beta.

What was the weather like when you took that screenshot?

They increased the camera exposure in cloudy / overcast conditions, which in turn now creates a lot of overexposure and bloom when you look at screens that have their brightness turned up.

Could that be the problem you’re experiencing?

That is possible. It was mostly cloudy when this shot was taken. Unfortunately, there is no way to adjust the brightness on these screens at the moment.
