There are several of the Local Legends, Famous Flyers, and Expert Series aircraft that I would love to obtain in MSFS 2024. I only bought a small handful during my time in MSFS 2020, and while we have access to those we purchased in 2020 now in 2024, we still do not have any of them added to the MSFS 2024 marketplace to purchase. Currently, the only way to obtain them if you do not have MSFS 2020 installed (Which I do not) is to purchase the aviator edition. Which would mean I would be repurchasing some of the aircraft I already bought. Jorg mentioned back in November, once the marketplace launched, they would release 2 or 3 of these aircraft each week into the 2024 marketplace. Sadly, none have been added yet. I would really like to see these brought over to the 2024 marketplace.
I would expect that none of those aircraft will be added to the 2024 Marketplace until they’ve been updated to 2024 standards. One alternative for you would be (assuming you still own a license for MSFS 2020) to access the 2020 sim via Xbox Cloud Gaming (I’m not exactly sure how that works if it requires a Game Pass subscription or if you can access it simply by owning the title) and making the purchase there. That would allow you to gain access to the Marketplace without a full reinstall of the sim.
Hopefully once we start seeing these aircraft getting 2024 updates we’ll also see them appearing in the 2024 Marketplace, along with a handful of Deluxe and Premium Deluxe aircraft that are also missing (presumably due to ongoing issues with systems, art, LODs, etc. present in those aircraft).
Also this thread is one of the many reasons we should have access to the MSFS Marketplace outside of the sim but I know that opens up an entirely new can of worms for the team - maybe Someday

Same for Deluxe and Premium Deluxe, as well - though I think Deluxe is now fully available, there are definitely still some hold-outs from Premium Deluxe. I know there were some quality concerns around a few of them, but at this point the 787-10 is in better shape than other individually-sold MS aircraft, so I don’t think that is still the reason for it’s omission from the store.
