Hi,
Is it just me or is it missing? I bought the plane from the market place just for that skin. It isn’t even in the market place screenshots anymore. If it was taken away, when are we getting it back? If we aren’t getting it back, can we get a refund for the plane?
Thanks

If I had to guess, they lost the rights to distribute this livery due to //42 releasing an officially licensed FreedomFox with Trent Palmer’s blessing. It’d be good to get confirmation of this though.

Ok. Thanks for the insight.
More informal than that; I removed the Freedom Fox livery as courtesy to that other project.

Thanks for clearing that up. What is the solution for people that bought the plane for the livery that came with it? I would not have bought it if that livery was not there. Can we maybe get other liveries from Trent’s Bush Plane group?
The solution is actually quite simple; you can buy the other product My apologies for removing it.
Well, the GOOD part is that the aircraft is now flyable and everything on it works. So, THANK YOU for that. That wasn’t the case before, so even if it’s just ONE livery, it’s 100% improvement on the aircraft itself. NOW… if the KingAir would “suffer” the same fate, I wouldn’t complain. It’d love it if that aircraft had some work put into it to make it at least SANE.

I plan on buying the other, I still want the skin on the plane I already purchased though.
Agreed. If it was removed as a courtesy to the other project, maybe it can be put back in as a courtesy to the customers who paid for it?

Some developers release certain liveries to flightsim.to along with their addon, often times when it has a copyright or something else preventing them from adding it to the paid version. It’d be nice if BT Studio could release the FreedomFox livery there at least.
This is exactly what I was thinking.
Sorry guys. I don’t know if this is much consolation; it was not advertised as coming with the Freedom Fox livery i.e. it was never in the marketplace photos/page or other promotional material.
That may be true, and don’t get me wrong, I’m not loosing sleep over this. But, the livery was included with the original purchase. It was widely known that it was included and obviously many 3rd party reviews showed off the livery. That is why I specifically bought the product. You’re not the first vendor that has changed something that the customers didn’t like, I’m sure it will happen again and again. It’s the nature of user generated content. It just crosses a line when it’s paid user generated content. It’s a wide gray line that has zero consequences in the real world. i.e. My kids can still eat tomorrow. I simply will not purchase BT products in the future. I’m not mad about it, that’s just how it is.
I truly wish you well, and success in the future, you’ve just lost me as a customer, which may not be a big deal to you at all. That’s just how it is.
