Bugs & Issues section is improving

The Bugs & Issues section is improving!

We thrive to provide efficient ways for bug reporting and giving the tools for the Community to enjoy the SIM. The Bugs & Issues section was created to convey any feedback and reach our team to quickly observed our Community concerns.

There’s always room for improvement! Few adjustements have been made to keep you engaged in making Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 better.

Objective: Being more efficient in fixing Community reported issues.

We’d like to provide better tools to improve Community feedback to the team:

  • Updated template for reporting and responding

Bugs and Issues are now seperated:

  • Self-Service becomes Community Help Center - Visit the Help Center to get solutions from the Community
  • The Bug section remains the same - Report or Contribute to a bug that cannot be solved without the MSFS team to intervene

Follow the Procedure to solve an issue step by step whenever you encounter an issue.

  1. NEW - Community Help Center :woman_pilot: :man_pilot:

Visit this section to find find or provide solution in order to help each other.

Zendesk Articles gather solutions for common issues that you may encounter. In addition, the Community represents a knowledgeable source of information that can be consulted in several areas of the SIM.

As mentioned above, we are expanding the current Self-service section to other categories.
Note: If after following firsts steps to solve an issue, the problem persists, use the Bug Reports section to report a bug.

  1. Bug Reports section: :hammer_and_wrench:

Visit this section to Contribute or Report a bug you have experienced by providing relevant information.

Before creating a bug report:

1 - Check if the bug created already exists – Avoid duplicates: Search using key words, or visit
the section of the bug you are looking for and verify that your issue not yet reported.

1.2 - Your bug is already reported by another community member, Contribute to it:

  • Give your vote.
  • Use the reply template to add relevant information.

Official tags will be applied to the Bug report as soon as progress is made on the bug.

2Your bug is not reported – Create a new thread. Use the template provided to give relevant information to the team. Again, the template provided is essential for us to reproduce the issue.

:loudspeaker: Using Templates provided will greatly help the team reproducing the issue and ease the process of fixing bugs

Thank you,

The MSFS Team.
