Yes. I miss the GTN 650/750 a little, not because I need them, just because I like the interface. But only with weather and charts (Europe) not downsized like in X-Plane

Add me to the list of customers who want this fixed ASAP. This and the horrible water pattern have almost completely ruined the game for me.

Oh man, yes, churches ⊠I fly a lot over the french countryside, churches are super important for VFR flying, every other village has one.
But I trust theyâll do it, they have already done an important VFR update : high-power lines, also very important visual cues for VFR.

If you look into the distribution.toml file you can find references to cult buildings. However, there is no corresponding .cbor file in the âPGG\Dioramaâ folder for these buildings. .cbor files seem to contain the definition of each type of building in terms of wall and roof types (color and/or details) which is then used at runtime to build up the buildings you see.
This. I hope marking this with a solution check doesnât make asobo overlook it, because it still needs fixing on their end.

I could really do with longer periods between patches that are thoroughly tested instead of things like this happening. There is no real benefit in the current process, when quite a few things get worse than better.
Yes, the ocean now has a repetitive wave pattern you would see in a small lake. Also, specular reflections (light the sun) in water now have banding rather than a smooth tonal gradient.
Are the file descriptions not reversed? The top link (bigger file) for LOD and buildings and the second file (smaller file) just for the skyscraper removal?

Iâve reversed the entries (and description) since yesterday in order to help people downloading the most useful one (just the skyscraper fix). The 2nd one is only experimental and shouldnât be really used.
However it may be when this post is referenced in other discussions it is still displaying the original post with entires reversed from the post in this discussion (quite complicated to explain in few words!)
So the skyscraper fix is the first one with LOD in the title?
Guys, Check your hangars. They broke the camera animation in the airplane presentation. It doesnât work. Also in Hangar mode all the glass instruments became cloudy 
And what exactly has that to do with building heights?
I concur it is not the best naming convention!
Yes you are right the name has âDfltLodâ as âDefault LODâ

Maybe the buildings throw fake shadows (as in âfake newsâ) onto the glass instruments

I just installed the Buildings fix 1.9.3 (not the one with LOD in the title) and can land at Malaga without crashing into that skyscraper!!! Airport building textures are untouched.
You know they added Malaga as an extra airport feature and never tested it out! This reflects very poorly on ASOBO. Sure add airports, but test them before release. âWho put that tower block on finalsâ???
As an old simmer, I like the new kid on the block, MSFS 2020, for one reason and one reason only.
We can have talented community devs like yourself put these into the Community folder and get instant fixes.
Sort of does the job for ASOBO? I bet they are laughing all the way to the bank. Free beta testers and free mods!!
But really? Asobo now a multi million dollar company and they release crappy updates. Sorry, but crappy must be the operative word.
Test the stuff first!!
