You are right about that, Asobo said some things about that at the Houston key note.
That they want to start with a new platform, instrad of continuing on the old one (but with full backwards compatibility) to be able to implement new techniques to keep the client thin, while adding more content and better quality and they also going to make better use of multithreading.
A technical question:
How can I determine what the singlethread performance of a cpu is? Is that the clockspeed?
Which GPU is better, 3090 or 4070? 4070 has higher clock speed, but 3090 has higher memory.
