If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:

C172 classic/basic (The standby Altimeter in the C172 G1000 is fixed)

This has been a bug for ages, ever since FS2024, 1st update, and they have not bothered to fix this. Also, the C172 should have altimeter calibration in units of 29.92 InHg [MSL] but instead they have it in this different version of 1000’s. HpA

I really wish they fixed this already. Its one of the most common GA planes in the world, and Cessna is a US based company, so the alt calibration should be in the Us system [as it was in FS2020], 29.92 msl,

Its very frustrating that they dont seem to care to fix the most basic bugs in their essential aircraft.

This is a different issue, see: C172 classic altimeter in hPa, cannot change to inHg

Just because the manufacturer is US based it doesn’t mean the aircraft will have US units. The Altimeter fitted will be in the units of the country in which the aircraft is to be operated. The solution for the sim could be to model a dual baro scale altimeter.

Noted in a different, now locked thread a while back. Crazy that they haven’t fixed it or added a dual kollsman window for hpa and in hg. Seems like it would be so easy.
