C172 COM knobs only turning frequency down

Are you using Developer Mode or made changes in it?
No

Brief description of the issue:
If you’re in the C172 or DA62 (and maybe other airplanes else), you can’t turn the outer COM knob up, the frequency is always going down. It’s working on the inner knob and on the NAV knobs. Please fit that.

Detail steps to reproduce the issue encountered:
Go in a C172 or DA62 after SU5 and try to turn the outer COM knob up/to the right. The frequency should go up, but instead it goes down.

Are you on the Steam or Microsoft Store version?
MS Store

Yep. Confirm to C208 as well. Logged on MSFS Support as #115540

Same issue. I’m surprised this hasn’t been addressed after two hotfixes.

I’m actually very surprised too.

Tested and this is still occurring in the most recent world update :frowning:

Are you using the G1000 NXi early access preview? This is a known bug with it: Working Title G1000 NXi Discussion Thread

Its not an issue of the NXI. The issue lies in the model behaviors of the cockpit.
The team is aware of it and it is being worked on for a future update.

Ah, I misunderstood the note in the NXi notes. They’re just saying it’s a problem in the base sim, and not specific to the NXi, rather than a problem with the base sim that’s exposed by the NXi.

For all I know, you should see the same issue in the stock G1000 (non-nxi)

I’ve also been having this problem since SU5 and it seems to be worth any aircraft using the stock G1000.
