Either your Avionics 1 switch is off(there are 2, #2 controls the center screen), or again something in your Community folder is conflicting.

Hey @dgtlanlg, I made some tweaks to the oil temperature params so that the oil temperature changes in a way I believe to be more authentic (More on that later) and it also gets a little hotter during cruise. By default it seems to rise/fall rapidly and it always sits at the very low end of the green band at all times.
Anyway, I find that these params work nicely
oil_temp_tc = 0.00375
oil_temp_tuning_constant = 1.145
Those have the oil taking a few minutes to reach operating temperature when starting cold and dark at -5c OAT, and it stabilizes roughly 2/3rds up the green band. +/- a bit based on OAT and power setting.
Maybe @PilotTrev could provide some input on a normal/average oil temp during cruise, and roughly how quickly the temp changes after engine start/shut down? Then we can tweak to achieve a result as closely as possible to his input. I personally have never flown a turbine aircraft but I would assume the oil would behave similarly to piston aircraft in terms of heating/cooling rate. Given that the PT6A-140 has an oil tank capacity of ~2.3 gal I would assume it would take a fair bit of time for all that mass to heat up at idle power, at least a little more than it does now. However the operating temp I have no idea about given the fundamental difference between turbine and piston engines, so thatās just a best guess on my part at the moment.

I have a strange issue. If I start from cold and dark or if I turn off the avionics 2 switch and turn it back on again the g1000 display gets stuck at the splash screen. Pressing ENT or the rightmost softkey doesnāt work. I reinstalled the C208 mod and the wt G1000 mod several times. But canāt get it to work. Is it just me or does anyone else experiences the same thing?
yes. Have the same. Pressing ENT in the middle screen, to try to start it up, opens a menu in the left screen only. Middle screen keeps having the startup screen. Donāt have it in front of me, but indeed it appeared to me alsoā¦
Can you guys confirm you have this problem with only the C208B and WT mods installed.
Yes, it works correctly if only the C208 and wtG1000 mod is installed. So there must be a conflict with another mod.

I found the problem. I had a custom checklist for the C208 installed. I removed it and now it works as it should. Thanks a lot for your efforts and keep up your awesome work

Have a look in your community folder if you have the āFSH-Checklist-c208-Asobo-V1_1ā by flightsimhangar installed. If yes, remove it. They updated it but itās payware now.
Will installing the modification to the WT G1000 have any affect on other aircraft using that mod?

Although I canāt guarantee it, I see no reason it should have any negative affect. It doesnāt make any alterations other than to apply the existing code for G1000 piston aircraft to the caravan.

I was also on the fence but cost was a big issue. I bought a Sceptre 35ā 3440 x 1440 21:9 100 hz monitor and was very pleased with the VA panel. Great monitor for $379 on Amazon.
Id also like to know which is the latest mod to install?

Do any of these mods fix the engine logic? Itās very unrealistic and I canāt get beta or reverse modes to work. Has anyone had this issue? Do any mods fix this? Thanks!
Beta mode just straight out doesnāt work, and so far I havenāt found a way to control prop pitch directly without completely breaking the flight model, this includes feathering, however the prop does go into reverse.
Iāve just spent a couple of days reworking the engine and flight model to better align with POH figures with some success, but thereās only so much that can be done given how poorly turboprops are simulated.
Hopefully the turboprop logic update will address these issues.
