C408 Pit mode setting wheel is inverted

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

This is a problem of MCP, it will effect to AP control.

Like the biggest arrow in pic, use mouse wheel to adjust the vs when mouse wheel down, then vs is decrease. But in pitch mode, it is getting reverse, when using mouse wheel down, the pitch of here is going higher (it is inverted).

And if you use keyboard or joystick to set the UP/DN it is correct again.

By define from the other aircraft, when using mouse wheel down to adjust pitch in other aircraft like PC24, Longitude and so on, it is same as “down”. Only this aircraft do the opposite.

Continuing the discussion from Sim Update 5 Beta (1.7.16.0) Release Notes - March 27, 2026:

The MCP is still incorrect in SU5. I did a comparison between the C208 and C408, which have very similar MCPs.

After engine start with avionics on, I set an altitude of 1000ft, and I turn on Flight Director.

C208. FLC. Roll mouse wheel up, IAS increases.

C408. FLC. Roll mouse wheel up, IAS decreases. (Opposite C208)

C208. V/S. Roll mouse wheel up, V/S decreases.

C408. V/S. Roll mouse wheel up, V/S decreases. (Same as C208)

The knob animations are another inconsistency. From what I can tell (it’s hard to see visually because the knob moves “instantly”), the knob animation in the C408 is opposite to the direction you roll the mouse wheel. The C208 seems to be OK.
