I am looking for feedback from an experienced C700 pilot on the progressive speeds during initial through final approach vs flap settings. I suppose this could be in the form of a pattern profile, assuming 29.92, seal level, 20-25 degC.
Flaps 1, gear up (downwind):
Flaps 2, gear up (downwind past the numbers):
Flaps 2, gear down (crosswind):
Flaps 3, gear down (crosswind turning to final):
Across the threshold:
Appreciate the feedback. Wish somehow someone could turn up an AFM for a C700 but since it’s relatively new I suppose it’s still considered Intellectual Property.
It’s best to use the Performance Page on the jet, because a lot of factors at destination matter, including your landing weight and the weather.
And Working Title put together a good POH - which cuts through a lot of the unused material in a full AFM and gives you both Normal Procedures as well as the minutiae you really need.
I am familiar with the Perf pages and use them regularly. But I often find pattern/approach diagrams in AFM’s that include diagrams reflecting speeds at various stages of the pattern, aligned to flap/gear position. That info is not included in the WT POH, so was asking what other pilots have found to be the “memory speeds” (aka: profile). Understand that these will vary based on W&B.
