Brief description of the issue:
I have a weird issue in the SU8 beta, I am not sure if this is a bug or is just some configuration issue from my end. Normally in the built-in replay tool, when I click on “Record Camera Track”, this will let you change the views in the cockpit like how normally you do while playing the replay and the camera just moves with the plane. Now however, when I click on “Record Camera Track”, this will make the camera fixed on some spot and is no longer moving with the plane. I have tried to play around with various camera settings and none has rectified the issue. Do you folks have a similar issue?

You’re going to want to post this on Zendesk and then come back here and include your assigned ticket number in this thread.
To date, posting bugs only on the forum isn’t the official method for getting them seen/recognized by the developers. This is a bit confusing for many of us.
I have the same issue as well. I really enjoy the replay. Asobo please fix this as we waited a long time to get it, then you gave it to us, and with SU8, now it’s not functioning properly as before.
Hello @OlieTsubasa443 sorry for tagging but this bug has appeared as regression from SU8, can we please get some confirmation that has been looked by the dev team?
Thanks
Going to file a Zendesk Ticket now, will report back with my ticket number. Note that this is happening in the release version of SU8 1.23.1.0 (not the beta version).
If im honest, I don’t really know where to post this so I’ll start here. Perhaps it should go in sim update category but anyway.
Since the most recent sim update, I have used the in-game replay function in the same way I had done since before the update. I also use the Bredok3d livery pack.
after I have complete a flight, I click on the replay that I want to watch, and I can watch the exact camera track of when it was recording. However, when I try to create a new camera track recording, instead of following the plane outside if I select exterior, or the wing view if I select showcase, and fixed #12 or #13, it puts the camera in some weird position near where my plane was when I ended the recording of the replay, and does not allow me to do anything with it.
This is for watching my landing, and the same thing happens when I try to watch my takeoff replay (I create 2 different tracks so it does not record the whole flight); when i record a new camera track, it puts the camera in a position near where I stopped recording after my landing, which is very odd since it is a different track recording.
If anyone knows how to help/solve this issue, or whether it is just a bug, please let me know as it is very annoying. I understand that there are 3rd party recorders out there, but personally I much prefer using one that is relatively integrated into the game, and made by the developers.
Thank you for reading the exponentially long message and for any help you can offer.
Please can this topic get some more recognition. this is gonna sound super cringe and sad, but Particularly since I got a new pc, i’ve been really looking forward to being able to enjoy cinematic views of my landings, or simply being able to feel like im on the plane now with a bigger monitor and better graphics. You get something good with this game with the sim update, and something always seems to get taken away…
Unfortunately, I think this is just another bug brought around by the new sim update and we are just going to have to wait and hope the devs recognise it and fix it.
