I see where you can save your flight plan but how can you save a flight mid-flight / plan and come back and finish it later? I don’t see that Save Flight option.
The pop up box says you should be able to save a PLN or an FLT, but then gives you no option to save a FLT
Provide a screenshot of the pop up box.
Will do a screenshot tonight, but basically go paraphrase it says you can save and load a PLN from the world map but from the cockpit you can save a FLT.
I’d settle for just being able to save flight with the existing flight plan. I’m not fussed if the weather and time aren’t saved.
Looks like it should work but bugged or disabled will take a look tomorrow treating 2024 as s beta at moment like it a lot good to see this may be possible in future anyone play with fcr yet I have been too busy setting controls
As someone who really liked being able to save .flt files ( prior to pressing FLY),
I’m going to miss it in FS2024.
That scrren is a typo or their part or there is a bug on the save screen.
It will only save a .pln file.
I just tried it and Save .pln or .flt does not work now.
It was working yesterday.
don’t assume it is gone may just be not properly implemented or bugged took a while to work on 2020 essential feature don’t give up easily asobo need to fix but will only happen if simmers want it.
Goooner1 how do you get to the save flight popup screen?
I open the EFB, go to flight plan and then at the bottom there should be the option save/load, once you click on that it brings up the pop up.
Thanks, all I found was to save a pln not a flt
There can’t be a simmer who doesn’t. Asobo know about it but are only interested in eye candy.
Oh there are loads of the old guard the as real as it gets brigade .real pilots can’t leave so why should you it is cheating
I hope someone who is more familiar with the forums than I am can set the flight save issue up for a vote/poll so we can get the dev’s attention directed to this.
It’s real pilot’s day jobs, some of us have other things that interrupt our simming time
The devs have known about it for years. Their managers aren’t that interested in sorting it out - low priority. Because of that my money goes elsewhere.
