Hey peoples , i don’t know if i am the only one , but when i lunch a saved game , i can not change the weather anymore !! that’s so weird !! and another thing , how can i change the unit ''Foot (ft) to meters ‘’ for the altitude . plz help me , i keep trying to find for an hours before i come here . thank you !
Sorry, don’t know about changing the weather in a saved flight. I’ll try to look at it later and see if I get the same issue. As far as converting from imperial to metric units, they’ve not implemented that yet. So still get “inches” for altimeter settings, and “feet” for altitude. Hopefully they allow for changes in the future. Regards
ok thank you ! u know in the old flight simulator x i was able to change the weather on saved flight ! and i was able to change units from imperial to metric ! specialy when i costumize the weather . it’s a flight simulator u know it’s something important ! Anyway i am waiting for your answer about changing the weather in a saved flight ! thank you again .
I’m having the same issue on saved flights. After loading a saved flight the weather is stuck and can’t be changed. Whether you start with live weather or custom, same for time. I started another topic this morning on the same thing.
Omg that’s realllly sad i can’t play my saved flights because of that !! i hope they will do something about that !!! & if anyone know how to do it , plz let us know

Also having the same issue, thought I’d search before posting a new post about it and came across this one. It’s very frustrating as I was planing on doing a long trip on one save, but after the initial save it looses it’s live weather settings but also can’t be modified, very frustrating.
I’m hoping this gets fixed with the upcoming patch. Do you think it’s be worth me putting in a bug report too???
Load the .PLN instead of the .FLT - and you should be able to change weather etc.
I only have .FLT files. I’m pretty sure . I need to make a flight plan to save a .PLN file and I haven’t tried making a plan more than what the globe or direct rout planner allows for in the plane.
Also I’m guessing a .PLN file doesn’t save the planes current state, fuel, hours flown etc. Would be lovely if they fixed the .FLT saves.
i can not find the .PNL eather ! i just have .FLT in my saved files !
I finally got a reply back from the ticket I put in 3 days after release. The only thing it said was they are aware of the weather problem and working on a fix. It said nothing about loading a saved flight.
So yes please put in a ticket. It’s hard to say whether they know of the problem of not being able to adjust the weather using a saved flight.
