Can someone explain the difference - AXIS and OHS - Demo vs Full?

I have recently built a new computer and I was using the Stream Deck with the plug in on the Stream Deck store. But it looks like some much more advanced profiles on flightsim.to are using AXIS and OHS. I watched a few videos on youtube and they say you can just use the demo version. I was wondering if you get a better experience with the full version or if it just adds features I don’t need and if I would be good with just the demo version.

I can’t seem to find good information on the difference between the demo and full version.

I was also using MOBI FLIGHT to program some additional commands that the base version of the Stream Deck store plug in did not have access to in the sim.

I would appreciate any help on this thank you.

Hi, Op,

On the Axis and Ohs demo download page, it states that the demo is fully functional, but will shut down after 20 minutes of use. You then need to start it up again.

I used the demo to determine if the software could do what I wanted, which was to be able control the autopilot functions of the Garmin G1000 by voice while in VR, using a Knobster to change inputs. (Axis and Ohs has speech recognition built in)

Granted, I had to restart numerous times while initially developing, but I was able to verify that it would do what I wanted, so I purchased it, around $20 if I recall. Well worth it to me.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for the information. Then this seems like a buy for me as those profiles look very good compared to what I built myself using MOBI. I can’t imagine that it would not work for me.

Hello @OperationDx ,
We ask that people not ask help or advice questions in General Discussion. Any troubleshooting questions should be in the green Community Support catehory. Because this is a non-support question, I am moving this to Utilities.

Upgrading from the demo to the paid version, do the settings transfer? Asked on AVSim, no reply.

Got my answer. The answer is Yes.
