So, the update is downloaded. I admit, I forgot to clear community file first, but did go back remove it/restart/quit/move it back/restart before attempting to fly. Anyways, I selected the XCub on floats at KORD. It’s been stuck on the loading screen for 20minutes now…. I do have FSDT ORD, as I was under the impression scenery wasn’t affected by update. Anyone else having similar issues?
Same here with Longitude at Van Nuys.
Same here in St. Jerome, Quebec. on the TBM.
So I am having the same issue. After the update, I flew around, and observed the much improved performance. Then I loaded everything back into Community, and it takes FOREVER to load in a flight…in fact it just sort of hangs after the blue bar advances the entire way. I guess I will unload community, and only load in a few of the addons that I want right now.
Unable to start a flight, bar at 100%, 20 minutes waiting and it does not start, empty community folder, restarted the sim several times and remains the same
It’s maddening, each update happens something new.
Mine never even got to 100%. Was maybe at 90% and then just hung there.
OK, hope this helps someone. I’m using Addons Linker and deselected everything before downloading my update. After trying to load a few flights for 20+ minutes, I checked my Community folder, and somehow many moons ago I had installed some planes and scenery directly into that folder. I moved them and tried again, and my flight loaded within about a minute.
I know everyone said they cleared their Community folder, but double-check it just to be sure.
so where do you put all your addons then if not in the community folder? my update went into my “Onestore” folder is this correct
I have no add ons and still have the same problem.
Me too, no addons so I think is the land data that needs to be dowloaded from the server that are at full capacity now.
Same here with DA62 and SR22 at KSNA, starting from a ramp. On one test I waited for over a half hour before killing the process in Task Manager.
My community folder is already empty, and I’m currently trying removing all Marketplace content (it’s redownloading mandatory content only right now, so in an hour we’ll know if that did it)
- Ryzen 3700X, with virtualization and SMT disabled for now
- 32 GiB RAM
- Windows 10 Pro current non-Insider release
- NVIDIA 2070 Super
- Current game-ready driver
- MS Store version
- Two screens: primary 3440x1440 at 125% scale with HDR; secondary 3840x2160 regular at 200% scale (not used for MSFS)
- Valve Index with SteamVR installed and attached but not in use (and SteamVR is not running)
Add-ons managed in-game (installer and Marketplace) go in Official\OneStore. Add-ons managed by you as a user go in Community.
I have the same problem, Community folder is wiped, and it gets stuck at 100% blue bar. The game loads fine into the sim itself, but once I try to actually fly, it will get stuck. Super annoying.
Has anyone having this issue actually loaded in yet? After 20-30min, I always just give up and exit via task manager. If so, curious how long it’s taken for you all?
Ok, after deleting all files from the Official\OneStore folder and reinstalling only mandatory content through the sim, I CAN LAUNCH INTO AN AIRPLANE SUCCESSFULLY AGAIN!
Starting at KSNA ramp 84, it put me in the Cessna Grand Caravan, cold and dark.
I’ll try reinstalling specific things I expect to use, and see if at some point it stops working.
servers down
I’ve also long loading screen , progress bar fully reached but the flight won’t start… this is really a pity… I Think there is now isuues with Mods added into the community Folder. HOPE A QUICK HOT FIX WILL BE APLIED VERY SOON
Yes I have same issue
same issue for me
I had the exact same problem. Hate to tell you this but the only fix I could find was to uninstall the Sim and start over. That added another 3 hours to the update but happy to say now everything is working as it should. I know that’s not what you wanted to hear but it was only way to fix my problem. Good luck!
