Cannot Enter Trip Fuel in EFB Flight Planning Weight and Balance

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: After the SU3, going to Weight and Balance in the EFB trip fuel is 0lbs and no way to edit the field. I loaded three different aircraft, the Icon A5, the Cirrus VisionJet and the DA-62. This field had been uneditable in the original release, it was editable after SU2. I haven’t participated in any Betas I’m running Standard Edition Default Aircraft.

Weather settings: LIVE

NOTE this is a different issue than Multiple aircraft, none of the EFB weight & balance options work or the EFB Weight & Balance Issue from Dec 2024. This is a NEW BUG post SU3

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?
So far everytime I ATTEMPT to do any flight planning.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Enter Free Flight Mode

  2. Bring up the EFB

  3. Enter Flight Planning

  4. Select Weight and Balance

  5. Scroll down to the line that says Trip Fuel

  6. Note that it is 0lbs and uneditable.

  7. Close the EFB

  8. Select A parking space at an airport

  9. Select Start Flight

  10. Once in control of the character pull up the EFB

  11. Enter Flight Planning

  12. Select Weight & Balance

  13. Scroll down to where it says Trip Fuel

  14. Note that it is 0lbs and uneditable

As you state in your topic title, you are in the flight planner EFB app. You can’t set trip fuel in the flight planner, never could. Trip fuel in the flight planner is calculated from your route (is set) and performance data.

You need to set your fuel in the aircraft EFB app. Press CONFIGURE and set your fuel there.

Incorrect, I hit CONFIGURE and I st my passengers, cargo, fuel.

I hit LOAD AIRCRAFT and I visually confirm that loading has taken place. Indicators show correct amount of fuel etc.

Open EFB and still 0 Trip Fuel

Why have the feature if it doesn’t work? I can put in Taxi Fuel, I can Enter all the fields EXCEPT Trip Fuel.

Make it make sense.

And yes I’ve been able to edit that field every flight until SU3 I haven’t been hallucinating.

I went back once again and put in different FULL flight plans and I did observe the Trip Fuel to adjust so I believe I understand what it is doing. I think it was better being able to edit that field but what I think isn’t necessarily better for the sim.
