Hello the issue is also with Helicopters in Free Flight mode.

In Cargo missions with a Cessna I managed to fly some missions with lean of peak. And I mean LEAN until the engine shuts down almost, which in real life would destroy the engine. Oh! And always fly above the weather FL110 and above.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

After purchasing fuel in a mission from the plane management window, the fuel does not transfer to the plane. It seems like fuel defaults to a standard amount no matter how much fuel is purchased.

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?

Yes. No mods.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

Every mission.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. In a Mission, in the management window, add fuel and purchase it.
  2. Launch the mission, check the in plane fuel gauges.
  3. You will see that fuel is not reflected.

YOUR SETTINGS

If the issue still occurs with no mods and add-ons, please continue to report your issue. If not, please move this post to the User Support Hub.

What peripherals are you using, if relevant:

[PC Only] Are you using Developer Mode or have you made any changes to it?

NO

[PC Only] What GPU (Graphics Card) do you use?

RTX 3080

[PC Only] What other relevant PC specs can you share?

C172 shown below

Purchased max fuel. (Clicked after this screenshot). 344lbs of fuel should be roughly 57 gallons.

Does not transfer to the plane:

Curiously, the EFB only displays a max of 26gallons , with 12 in left and 14 in right. C172 can hold much more than that.

Before owning a company did a gig in africa. Dropped in the sea between continent and madagascar because of low fuel even though I selected max reserve on the tablet before flight. This makes it insanely hard to get big scores as it is made impossible.

I confirm this is a bug.

Ading the “Add Fuel Quantity” command on the keyboard DID fix it.
But this must be patched.

Same here, I play on Xbox Cloud. Every single flight on my Cessna 172 it starts with 22 gallons of fuel, no matter how much I refuel, or not refuel. So, I decided to play the “free” fuel, after trying to refuel a couple of times. I guess, one day I will regret not checking to refuel.

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
• Yes

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• Also I noted, that the fuel calculation is always based on the Cessna 172. It does not take in account, if an other Airplane is chosen.

Same behaviour as everyone else, C172 G1000 always spawns with 25Gal of fuel, no matter what I set before starting the flight. Also doenst matter if it’s my own plane or employee.

Same problem, slighly different steps:
• Purchase the Bonanza G36 for your company
• Zoom to the airport where the G36 was delivered to
• Select any mission from there and “accept mission”
• Click “Management” –> Fuel and payload –> Manage Fuel –> Refuel

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• No way to add fuel in the above mentioned dialog

Hello,

Same bug for me !

The simple workaround that I suggest is as follows:

“You add the volume of fuel you want before your flight, you launch your flight and on the parking air you will see 43%, press escape & them the restart bouton and it will take into account the fuel you had put in.”

I hope a fix from game developers soon !

HawxNS

I tried this, as with a few other workarounds i have found to no avail - still loaded in with zero fuel everytime with the bonanza. Solved my issue by restarting career and avoiding it like the plague till its fixed.

Just ran out of fuel on the last 20 miles of a 3.5hr medium cargo flight in a Caravan. Didn’t know about the add fuel keybind trick. The condition this sim was released in is a joke.

There is no plan to fix it according to the live broadcast they are doing.

• I have the same issue on all career missions. I am ok if I “skip” the cruise. But if I don’t skip then on many aircraft I will run low or out of fuel . All missions start off at 50% or less of fuel capacity.

• please test your own game before alpha release.

ya it’s wild this was not even talked about, like at least bring up the fuel key bind work around. It makes a lot missions unable to finish and waste player money … and they just stay silent not even telling the player the way around it.
