Can't login to Xbox Live and launch MSFS 2020 & 2024 [September 2nd 2026]

Is anyone else having issues trying to launch the sim?

Every time I try to it gives me an error: Sorry, something went wrong. Try again in a while. (0x80004005)

Yes. I also can’t login to 2024.

Was just about to make a post

Another day of relying on Xbox servers!

Got this message. My internet connection is working flawlessly with 300 Mbit/s, but the message doesn’t go away. The only option is to ‘quit to desktop’ , which I don’t want to do after 2 hours flying a route for my VA.

What can I do?

Xbox servers are down again most likely. Can’t even launch 2020.

Hi @Chewwy94,

I cannot launch MSFS 2024 as well as MSFS2020.

I get the same error message as the OP in 2020 did.

MS Store versions on PC. Location : France
