Can't start a flight, just get a loading circle when clicking 'start flight'

It just happened to me again, and I switched origin airports and then it worked. Prob. just server congestion.

It´s back again here in Germany. Very annoying bug this is!!

Is SU2 going to help with this? Was able to get in late on sunday, and late on monday. Tried this morning and it just spins.

I am on SU1 I am also not able to start a flight. It‘s loading endless with the turning circle …

Ofc I have the same problem as others 4080s 7800x3d and 1GB internet so my specs are not the problem. This is absolutely unacceptable. The Core of the game is not working. Asking 69.99 for a beta test is outrages. Fu Asobo

Same as everyone else.
I just uninstalled EVERYTHING, even cleaned the registry of any traces of MSFS, deleted ALL my community folder content, including the files needed for my Bravo quadrant and Logitech Radio.
Even after a fresh install and an empty community folder, the Sim just hangs when attempting to zoom in for either a “Fly Now” or a planned flight. I can just ESC to get back to the menu.
The strange thing, and this might be a clue for my problem, if I select to start, not at an airport, but in the air, no problem, works. If I select a ■■■■■■ airport, like in the middle of nowhere, most of the times no problems either. I even tried to stop the Stream of airport enhancements from the store.
Any ideas what else should I try?
I have a 14900K, 98 gigs DDR5, 4090. My internet is a 2.5 Gig fiber. Latest Nvidia drivers (tried both, game/Studio)

It’s reassuring to read that I’m not the only one with this problem. I’m from Germany.
Sim flying is my biggest hobby on the PC, and I can’t even put into words how this disregard for the (expensive) paying customers drives me crazy.
I’m now 100% certain that the simulator’s release was deliberately pushed forward in a disastrous state for financial reasons, and now users have to pay the price.
I’m also certain that the entire server infrastructure in the background was only tested to the bare minimum to ensure that the switch from local installation to streaming works.
The Microsoft brand has now raised a red flag for me when it comes to gaming, and I’d rather invest more of my valuable time in configuring DCS. I don’t have a Cessna 172 there, but at least I can fly.

Since SU1, I often get stuck at loading like that. Usually with airports in denser scenery.

There are now two was that enable me to always spawn into the game and work around the error:

  1. Set GFX levels to minumum, then spwan into the airplane and the increase GFX level while in game. In my case, I max it out all the way and it works like that.

  2. As other posters suggested, I can also spawn into the plane by selecting a spawnpoint, then zoom all the way out until it woun’t go further (the entige globe is visible then) and then press the yellow button to enter the flight. Needless to say, it is the more convenient way of doing it and so far it always worked. It also worked after getting stuck, hitting “Esc”, then zoom out all the way and clicking the yellow button again.
