Can't start MSFS2024 since Hotfix (Error 0xc0000005)

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
Since the recent hotfix I can’t start MSFS2024 anymore. I see the starting screen and after ~20sek. I get an error popup. I’ve tried to reinstall, updated Win11, Logout/Login in XBOX and Store, nothing helps

exactly same problem for me too,

i have also tried reinstall, updated Win11, Logout/Login in XBOX and Store

Same here :confused: saving a saturday for me and Fs2024 and got this… arghh

• Having the same issue since the update.

Same issue, game won’t load at all. Same error message. Have tried restarting, repairing, reinstalling, logging out and in again.

Exactly the same issue here too, only started happening since the hotfix last night.

What I’ve managed to notice is it only happens to me once I have clicked on free flight. I was able to navigate around the other menus fine until I tried to get a flight going.

So frustrating, I haven’t even got an aircraft up and running yet

I also have began to have this issue, i just downloaded and installed update and the same error message is now appearing for me, I had been able to enter the sim on Thursday with no issues and completed my first flight but i came back to the sim today to run another flight and now i cant even get in at all like most people on this thread.

I got the same Error on 3d day after installing.
Before that MSFS asked for Admin permission.

•Before I installed 2024 I did a acronis bootable image of the complete hard drive to a second one.

After installing the 2024 did run for two days without any problem. Yesterday evening the problems started.

I did all the stuff. that was suggested from your support. It das always the same promblem:

At first: 0x87e50037 for only one time, after reinstalling

an imedeatly then: 0xc0000005

and now every start ends with 0xc0000005

Now I did a clone the all content from the second drive back to the actual drive.

I did a complete new installation of 2024 on the restored data (which were able to run 2024 for two day)

Unfortunately it ist the absolut same problem!!!

CAN YOU PLEASE CHECK WHAT THE PROBLEM IS? IT IS IN YOUR DATABASE

And again - all drivers are new and all of the updates are done an all your suggestions to solve the problems are also done.

I didn’t see any improvements in preventing crashes today. Of 6 attempts I managed two good complete flights although on the second one it crashed to the desktop after ending the flight.

I’m receiving the same issue. I have tried updating drivers, updating Windows, disabling all overclocks, and the issue still persists.

I’m using an i9-13900K and Radeon 6950 XT. I’m using the base game (no addons etc installed), installed via Steam.

Don’t get the error code but CDT at 87-89% point. Worked fine for 2 days (Wed and Thurs) but not after patch.
Another thread says to reduce the number of cpu cores thru bios or msconfig…really??
They need to fix what the patch broke.

I can’t believe it. I spend more than 200€ on this simulator with the promise that it will be spectacular and I receive the same error as the colleague, Shameful; An absolute rip-off, a scam and a great lack of professionalism when it comes to solving problems.
My RAM works perfectly, my video card drivers are up to date, I reinstalled Windows 10 to its latest version and updated, all the other drivers updated. And the problem persists, not only have I paid more than 200€ but the time and the expense in electricity are priceless.

Can you tell me what they are doing to remedy this problem?

This just started happening for me 30min ago after loading multiple sessions since the patch. I am unable to get into the game now.

For me, I could solve this issue! Responsable was an update of the software (Platform Manager) of my motion platform (NLR). After deinstallation of this drivers, MSFS2024 started again :grinning:
