Captain Sim RAF S.E.5a

Certainly one of the most successful aeroplanes of World War One with over 5,000 being built.

If you have any of the Captain Sim WW1 aeroplanes then you know what to expect. There isn’t any FS2024 bells and whistles and no checklist, so starting it is a bit of a trial and error affair.

Not sure how realistic the flight model is but it feels authentic enough.

It certainly looks fantastic and has a array of different liveries from both WW1 and after. It is however using the Curtiss Jenny engine sounds.

I don’t know if it’s the recent update but switching between the different liveries can cause the game to crash.

Looks great!

Marketplace only again? I’ve skipped the Fokker because of that.

Edit:

It certainly does! I believe it is Marketplace only.

I also skipped it, but I admit it was more because of Captain Sim than the MP

I own their other WWI aircraft, the Camel and SPAD.XIII, as well as the HE-111H. Those aircraft are quite nice and fun to fly. Not having any experience flying a real WWI aircraft, I can’t speak to their accuracy, and I’m not an engine sound snob.

I did get to see the real Neuiport 28 fly on its first public flight.
