• Yes, I tried various airports in my vicinity (Germany) as well as airports in the USA which worked for others (KTAN, KSEZ) but no joy.

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• I can click on the airport in the global map but stuck on next screen “choose airport” I can click on the button “choose airport” but nothing happens…
That means, I cannot start Career.
I restarted PC and Sim many times, no change.

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:

This no bug.
You cannot start your career on every airport, just on airports that are not to small or big.
The only bug I can see here that this seems not well communicated by the devs.
I think it was mentioned either in one of the devs streams or in some interview from the marketing event at the Grand Canyon. Both have surely not been seen by every FS-24 user.

I think it clearly is a bug, as I tried to start career from airports which worked for others - but it does not work…

I think I found one solution (at least for my case…):

Once I reset my career in my pilot profile, I could select one airport and start the career.

This is interesting, as my career never started due to the fact that could not select one airfield to start it in the first place…

I tried resetting my pilot profile before filing the bug report and that didn’t fix it for me.

I stand corrected, it is in fact working. @TheBushyFox is correct.

It is true that there are only specific airports you can start your career at.

If you look at the globe view and zoom in you will all the white dots. Those are the valid career starting airports. Zoom in more and more to the area/region you want and you will begin to see the valid starting airports.

While I stand corrected this does not seem to be a bug; it is a pretty bad UI Interface decision to have a giant search box at the top left with no mention that only certain airports are valid which leads simmers to think any airport can be picked.

Mystery solved I guess, hopefully they will update the UI to be more intuitive.

Moved to User Support Hub User Interface & Activities since a solution has been marked.
