Roughly 30 minutes ago, career mode missions stopped working. When relaunching the game, my “character” is a red person with some white writing on it.
Trying to take the high performance engine certification and it just hangs on loading. All other missions in career mode hang as well.
Anyone else?

Same here…career mode hung up and forced a reboot!
For me the career mode is stuck on the waiting progress bar, this happens when I click on an airport to start my career from. Not sure if it’s down. I have tried twice and both times it happened. Had to restart the sim.
UPDATE:
It finally loaded, I just let it sit there and after around 15-20 minutes it loaded.

I cant get past the training in the cessna because everytime I start the engine as asked it resets to get in the plane.

The career mode when down even had a padlock on it but still hasnt fixed the issue iv been having. As i start it puts me in the floor of the aircraft and i xant do anything. All controls are dead i cant move the camera view. Playing on the xbox x
I did some career mode missions last night in VR (which is at times beautiful) but the basic game engine had major flaws, ones you don’t find until you have been flying for a half hour. In one example I was ferrying a Cessna to an airport and it turned out the landing was on the water. Needless to say I couldn’t complete the mission and wasted a half hour or more. Another had an engine just stop a few miles from the end airport with no chance of restarting. One last night had me delivering goods to an island airport and the approach markers guided me to what appeared to be a grass field only to find out that wasn’t the airport they intended. Another half hour wasted. Frequently on the taxiways there are other aircraft parked but some with no wheels hovering above the ground. You will get random hits on your flying such as exceeding the maximum speed on the flaps when you don’t even have them deployed. Seriously Microsoft? Did you not test all of these new features? I could give a f*&k about seeing deer on the side of a runway when the planes won’t even fly.
I think we know the answer to the part about testing the product, that’s being done now by us!!
Since the update, my DA-62 is no longer available for flights - I can transfer it manually, and carry out maintenance, but when I try to transfer it from the mission screen, nothing.

I was using Microsoft flight simulator 2024 through Xbox xs game pass and was having no problems once passing flight training I was able to use career mode. After Christmas I purchased Microsoft flight simulator 24 premium because it was half off loaded the game to find an all new home screen completely different from what I was used to with game pass I have live events in the top left corner free flight in the top right corner flight training bottom left activities bottom center and community store bottom right but I can’t seem to find career mode anywhere as I had advanced through to the multi-engine past the tail dragger and such. Now the game is almost completely just simulator do I have to pass the VFR and IFR training before career mode opens up where did career mode go very confused as it seems it’s a completely different game any help would be greatly appreciated
First pass your PPL and it fans out from there. You can do recreational flights, or indeed CPL training. You’ll see the branches open up as you go.
