I just have a question (or request) - can we change the hometown/airport where we have started our career? Because of time zones…when Im using my country (Singapore) and getting home after work - its already dark. So I choose Germany (Flensburg). Thats ok when (mostly) except weekends, when I am able to fly before 4pm local time. Otherwise its still night in Germany. I know we can change time/weather, but I like to deal with real weather conditions. And btw.: why are e.g. here in Singapore, none of our usual airports are available for career? Only e.g. a strange naval base (which I have never heard of before).
In totoal, Im very statisfied with msfs2024, there are some very annoing bugs (e.g. toolbar in vr) but (for me) the performance is much better than in 2020

The HQ in career mode really doesn’t seem to serve much purpose. There are 3 things that are important that I’ve encountered:
Where your pilot is located. You can pay to move around (at least in Freelancer mode, and it’s cheap) which unlocks more of the map.
Where your aircraft is. This only matters in Freelancer mode. You can pay to move it.
The areas you have unlocked. This matters more in Employee mode.
I haven’t found any evidence that the HQ location actually means much. You can just go elsewhere and you’ll stay there until you move again. Maybe I’m missing something but I think even when you have multiple aircraft and AI pilots, you can move the aircraft wherever you want.
