You do know there’s no such thing a refunds on marketplace items. No way to remove the aircraft.
But Microsoft will refund you the sim credits. Goes back on your debt. Like a “good faith gesture”
It’s probably going to my one any only refund for a marketplace items. MSFS says right on their page… someplace they “DO NOT” offer refunds on marketplace items.
I really thought Carenado would fix these issues pretty quickly but, alas, they seem more preoccupied with releasing the classics like the V35 and now the Cessna 195 rather than their original planes. I’m very disappointed. I have not flown the PC12 since buying it and a try-out.
I would like to see complete integration with the Bravo quadrant auto pilot buttons and selector knob in being able to change the altitude selector via the buttons and rotor knob on the bravo.
It’s a small thing but very useful.
This option will change the way XML gauges are rendered by the simulation, switching from the windows GDi render engine to NanoVG, which is the default on Xbox. This option is included to permit you to test that your XML gauges render correctly when the package is installed on an Xbox, and - in general - you should see little difference between the two render formats. It is worth noting that in the future NanoVG will be the default renderer for both platforms (PC and Xbox), so it’s worthwhile testing your gauges even if you are not planning on releasing a package for Xbox.
If you switch off “NanoVG”, the display bands are available again, but the rendering of other displays is no longer correct - so unfortunately no solution, but perhaps an approach for the specialists here in the forum
Hi. I have a question about the AP function in this aircraft. When i’m using IAS vertical AP function, and then the DN & UP buttons to adjust, is there any place where the current value is displayed? I can see in the manual that it says the set value is your speed when you press the IAS button and then it adjusts from there, which does seem to work, but in other aircraft the setting value has always been displayed somewhere that I can read.
Okay thanks. That’s surely just how the AP in this plane work in real life. A little disappointing because I like to pre-set that to the Vy while I’m still on the ground. Doesn’t seem practical here. I totally get that some aircraft are newer/older than others and offer different levels of AP functions.
I usually used VS mode set to 2000 FPM on the runway. Just be sure you are clear of obstacles when engaging the AP. It levels off quite hard before it starts climbing.
Its so annoying that this plane which is a great plane has these bugs. I really wanted this plane to be good, and it is but for me the FPS issues on landing and the other bugs just make me leave it in the hanger. Such a shame.
My other displays seemed fine with Nanovg turned off, but like you say not a solution.
I am certainly not a specialist, so hopefully it might give one of them an idea in the right direction. I have also emailed Carenado about this so I hope it may get sorted in the future…if not, I will certainly have a look at the SWS one when it comes out, PC12 is my favourite aircraft!
So just logged on, and there was a small update to the sim (im on beta train), and just tried flying this, and had no avionics, most screens blank, except EVERYTHING on the HSI comes on at once. tried several liveries, default and custom, same issue. Done with this P.O.S.
I love this plane when I am taking off but when I am landing I want to smash my PC when I am getting about 10 FPS if I am lucky. Such a shame really as the plane is nice at the start but 45mins in it all goes horribly wrong Outside view silky smooth - cockpit view - 10 FPS
