Please post some screen shots and say which aircraft you are using. I have always found cargo missions in Australia. It might be that you are flying the C208, which last I looked doesn’t. For PC12/24 there are and also light cargo there are depending which plane you are flying.
Hi,
It’s not that there aren’t any, but there are very few and they’re well hidden.
It depends on the areas you’ve explored. For Australia and medium cargo (freelance) missions with the C208B, I only know of five, all located in the east :
That’s 5 more than when I started career . Yes, there is a problem with the c208 and missions. You’re best off saving for a pc12. You might have to either move it to usa or sell it or leave it earning passive. USA and EU for c208 missions.
This isn’t normal and might be due to that strange seasonal metric they added to career mode
I started in Australia and medium cargo was everywhere, I’ve explored and opened up 70% of the entire country mostly using cargo, because the airliners and vip only go the main hubs.
There should be loads of cargo, but maybe the switch flicked over from that unrealistic seasonal metric and now it’s out of season in Australia, which isn’t true in real life.
I own a PC-12 and a Cessna 408 for medium cargo missions. I explored a lot of Australia and covered the same area some of you showed in your screenshots and still didn’t see any cargo missions.
And even than, three cargo missions in all of Australia? Doesn’t seem right. Instead of cargo I have a lot of skydyving in the middle of nowhere.
To explore this territory, skidiving missions are mandatory .
I have discovered a large part of it and I find many missions for medium cargo with PC12 or C408.
Using filters “Pilatus PC-12 NGX”, “Cessna C408 Skycourier” and “Cargo Transport - Medium” :
The scarcity of all missions in general is a problem with career. I find the mission locations to be far too limited and the mode got stale pretty quickly; it would be nice if we could choose exactly where we want to do missions instead of waiting for MSFS to generate a mission in the area I want to fly.
I think that scarcity is selective to cargo companies, to which country you are in, to which aircraft you fly, to which airport you are at.
If you compare the major airports in USA, some have over 40 missions and others will have 8.
It would be good if they started generating return missions though when you choose one that goes somewhere more remote but then find you have to pay thousands of credits to move your plane.
It’s not rational to think an area that requires cargo wouldn’t need to send something back somewhere.
I have a company with both of them and I have most places uncovered you have uncovered and still see no cargo missions. But then it seems to be a localised problem. Maybe there is a connection problem to the server or a difference for different IP-Adresses…
