Also affects the rotating engine (Fenix) so all semi-transparent objects/textures are affected. Hoping for SU15 to finally fix it
This is still an issue in SU15 Beta
Is this an msfs problem or developers using incorrect textures?
Haze and fog never truly āconcealā the plane like they should. Also, you canāt see your plane interacting with cloud, fog, haze, rain, snow, etc. Literally no visual effects on the planeās body or fuselage in different weather conditions - like for example in rally driving games you see the cars getting caked with layers of mud ans water - FS needs to have similar effects. Hoping to see those added.
This is an MSFS bug where glass materials are visible through the fog. This has been reported multiple times to Asobo but apparently cannot be fixed easily.

Anyone offer insight now that SU15 is live regarding this issue?

The glass/windows on some terminals and jetways are visible through dense fog.
Problem was reported 4 years ago. Now in fs2024 it is still not fixed.
Still an issue in 2024.
In 5 years Asobo never even acknowledged this as a bug (yes we reported this back in Alpha testing of MSFS2020). Looks like they simply see this as a normal thing of their graphics engine. What a shame.
bug logged since 2020ā¦ sounds like weāre getting somewhere!
Same here at inibuilds KDTW in heavy fog on 3 Feb 2025. Buildings showing through like it isnāt foggy. I canceled the flight and shut down my sim and went to play RDR2 instead. This sim aināt ever gonna be right. Especially with 2024 out now. Iām sure thatās a million new issues that will take 10 years to not fix until the new version does the same.
