Cessna 172SP Skyhawk AS1000 improvement mod

Is this something we need to do? Or do you mean you will pull in the upstream changes?

No Iā€™m preparing an update on my mod. Bug is fixed on the beta version, Iā€™m testing everything !

Still, I think thereā€™s a problem in the value displayed even in the lean page : itā€™s not what I have through a simconnect valueā€¦

Can confirm this is an issue even in e.g. the G36 with an empty Community folder.

Oh, and I tried the auto-lean assist as a workaround, but I mostly stayed below 2000ft. So I canā€™t say for sure, but during this flight the mixture control did not move. Maybe because it also doesnā€™t get the relevant information?

I tried the assisted lean button and after that, the display scale seems to be ok and the cursors in both pages are displayed correctly.
(in asobo c172, without my mod)

Good day Sir,

It is a fantastic job you got there. Been flying with your mod number of times now.

Looking forward for your other creativity. Well done & all the best to you.

Happy flying

I couldnā€™t find a button. I only turned on the assist. I know there is a key binding ā€œmixture leanā€, but this cuts off.

itā€™s on lean page

A few improvements since the last two updates, one of them is the compass style choice :

  • Top compass like this one
  • Standard, on the panel
  • No compass : a feature request I have received from panel builders

Itā€™s also possible to save the internal light settings now : ceiling lights, panel, pedestalā€¦

Installed the mod in my community folder and nothing shows up when I load the plane. i have no other mods for this plane.

maybe check that you donā€™t have an extra folder in the community directory

I realise Iā€™ve spent a lot of time working on the Reims Rocket theses last months. As it was built up from this AS1000 improvement mod, it was about time I gave it back what I added to the Rocket

I started with the angle of attack indicator.
I have to add the GPU and the external startup smokes (soon).

I noticed my last update broke compatibility with MGouge425ā€™s realism mod. If you have both mods, you wonā€™t be able to use the AOA indicator.

A line is now missing in the realism mod system.cfg :

circuit.49 = Type:CIRCUIT_STALL_WARNING#Connections:bus.2#Power:3, 5, 20.0#Name:Stall_Warning ; Stall Warning 5W

You can safely add it to the file :

mge-asobo-aircraft-c172sp-as1000-std\SimObjects\Airplanes\Asobo_C172sp_AS1000\system.cfg

Iā€™ll get in touch with MGouge425 and ask him to include it in his mod

EDIT: MGouge425 already posted an update (1.3.4) with the additional line !
