Oh jeez. What’s going on with the grass in those pics? Is your online data functionality off? What are your graphics settings?

ultra.. looks like mountain grass is not the same as lower level grass lol

It doesn’t look like there is any grass at all, just a generic low Res texture (from Skyrim…)

was that first try landing? I was getting blown all over..I didn’t hit until my 4th try.. LOL
Congratulation!!! Frankly, I needed more attempts. I fell into the underworld a few times. Also on the grassy area. 
However, the rock has a place that holds. I already had that, but when I wanted to pose for the photo, it had happened to me. 
Hoppala, that should actually reach them. 
strip #4 is known to be dangerous for his open polygons

Pardon me for bursting in here. I’m a total rookie pilot lurking around here learning and I saw this thread and decided I had to make an account. This 1’st ever flight sim and no idea what I’m doing. Getting better but I digress. So I was touring Bora Bora on my 1’st or 2’nd day with the game and saw this guy on the ledge on the mountain. I circled around and fly by to check to see what was going on.
I see this post today and go “hey I was there”

Hello, unfortunately I don’t know many “Rock on Air” places.
Here’s another possibility. Gibraltar also offers good terrain (especially for wind chimes). Some parts of the rock there are landable.
