CL-415 flight idle bugged causing NP issues

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
Putting the CL-415 throttle into flight idle causes unwanted behaviour:

  • On the ground NP goes into the lower red range. It gets lower when the throttle is slightly increased. Also the high cam settings seems to do nothing.
  • In flight NP skyrockets into the red and beyond. This seems very similar to the report on the Grand Caravan: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/cessna-208b-prop-speed-at-idle/679597
  • I suspect that this issue might be related to trouble that players have keeping the engine from malfunctioning if being in the red NP range causes damage.

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:
CL-415

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
• not sure if it’s related but it’s very difficult to take off from water with a full scoop load. Pushing engines into the red then results in damage and doesn’t guarantee lift off.

Does your issue related to this one ?: MOST fire Extended attack missions: Scoop transition logic flawed

not at all. My bug report on “MOST fire ext atk missions…” is about flawed career mode mission logic, not aircraft performance.
