Clean install and latest Nvidia drivers 511.79 - Amazing

Did you clean installed Nvidia drivers too?

Yes. I did. Not sure what to do next.

And…yes Sevenflyer. I started with a clean formated NVME this morning, and was able to get completely through the download. Installed from XBOX per the store’s instructions.

Steam or MS Store? If Steam have you tried to use the option Verify files? And at what point do you get CTD (at launch or else)?

MS Store Camer. Both CTDs at launch before getting to the ramp in a G1000 172. No CTDs hardly ever prior to this last MSFS update, so maybe I’ll be grounded until the next one.

Ironically I just got my 1st CTD! I am going to try again to rule out the airport in my flight plan. In this case KLAS and KPDX.

This seems to be the same dll in all of the CTDs:
Faulting module name: WwiseLibPCx64P.dll, version: This has to be an Asobo problem, but I don’t have any hope they will acknowledge.

Here is one posted solution

The shimmer is a known bug that they are seemingly refusing to work on. It started with SU5.

Please vote in the dedicatrd thread if you want to see it improved: Shimmering/AA downgrade since SU5 (in-game, not menus/overlays)

Yahoo! First time I’ve gotten wheels off the ground in over 10 days. Uninstalled the Realtek audio drivers and voila, no CTD! Thank you TheSevenflyer. I’ll try again later this afternoon to make sure, but no stutters and no CTDs in the TBM with both TBM Improvement Mod, G3000 from WT, and FSUIPC latest.
Update: 18:39 CST - 3 flights all in different aircraft with narry a stutter or CTD. Realtek driver seems to be the cause of my multi-week CTD issue.

Well, that was certainly a marathon!
Congrats and good flights!

It looks like I already voted on it a while back. Thanks for reminding me it’s probably not a driver issue.

Sorry i messed up the URL, fixed it!
