Is anyone else experiencing an issue where the camera slowly drifts in whatever direction you turn the in cockpit camera view? I use TrackIR and if I move my head and stop the camera will slowly keep on going in whatever direction I turn.
Its not a TrackIR issue since I tried disabling it and it still does it. I tried turning the camera momentum level down to 0 and makes no difference.
Nope. I was just about to come on here and ask the same thing. Its my number one biggest issue now. Does anyone experience it who’s not using an X-56? Perhaps we can narrow down the problem.
X56 here also, adjusting the deadzone made no difference. I tweaked the sensitivity in FS2024 Hardware and my only achievement was getting the camera to drift up instead of down !
My fix, for now, is to unbind the cockpit view yaw and pitch axis from the X56 stick and bind them to my X56 Throttle stick and I no longer see drift.

Hello Microsoft team,
kind off sad to have a game that’s unplayable since we cannot fix the camera drift.
I kindly appeal to Microsoft to spend some time on thiss issue, since 2 days have passed and we still don’t see a solution or a fix for the camera drift.
PS: msf 2020 I’have no problem , using the same specs and controlers X-56
thanks in advance
Not sure if this is the same cause, but I had this cockpit camera drift and in the settings I changed the Camera → Cockpit Camera → Free Look Reset from Manual to Auto. And now I have no more camera drift
YES. I am experiencing very slow cockpit camera drift and have tried everything. Also, I cannot get my mouse to do cockpit freelook. I am using a Velocity One Flightstick, and a mouse. Absolutely infuriating and borderline unplayable.
I can confirm that setting free look speed to 10 and freelook momentum to 0 seems to have cured the issue for me. I use Track IR so not sure it’ll help if you use other methods.
I was having this problem because the game assigns these view controls as a default to a mini stick on my throttle. It took a few attempts at clearing this for the problem to go away. Notice there are two categories of assignments and I think this one is in General so if you clear the aircraft assignments it will still be there. Also you would want to make this setting apply to all aircraft.
