Cockpit camera drift

Ca a fonctionné pour moi aussi

Merci !

Hello,I tesed and It works, but I don’t want to reset the view each time, I want to keep the one I selected with the ministick.

hope it will be fix with a new update !!!

Adjusting this seemed to work for me. Thanks for sharing.

For those not wanting to watch a vid

Controls > search for Cockpick View Pitch Axis > Gear Icon > increase the deadzone by 1 or 2.

That seems to fix the issue and as long as you don’t increase the deadzone too much, you can’t even notice the change besides it no longer drifting.

I have something similar happening. In all the aircraft the cockpit camera continues to very slowly drift upward. Thought is was an issue with TrackIR but it still does it without TrackIR. Thanks.

It’s crazy the number of camera bugs a game with this many development resources has. I mean I don’t like to talk smack but it just feels like amateur hour here. Are they outsourcing all their development work to the cheapest bidder or something?

Under camera → cockpit camera → I cannot see “free lock reset” or any way to “reset from manual to auto”.

This is driving me crazy, flight simulator completely unusable with constant drift down. when I switch to outside view it drifts up so in a minute or two I am looking at the aircraft from the top instead of behind it.

yes, worked for me perfect. thanks

This worked for me thank you :folded_hands:

I’ve had MSFS since December 2020 and just recently I started having this camera drift issue. I have a temporary fix by changing the Freelook Reset to Auto. This seems to work in the cockpit but in external mode the camera just drifts and circles around the aircraft. It does not do it in Showcase mode as I use a controller for it. This is frustrating and MS/Asobo cannot seem to fix it.

I’m not sure if this helps anyone but I just ran into this problem myself. Happened out of the blue with no immediate hardware changes. Unplugged all my devices and deleted profiles trying to find what was causing it. I finally found the problem. It was a hat switch on my throttle control that was off center. It was apparently bound to the cockpit view and sometimes would center and sometimes wouldn’t. I verified this in the controller axis view and watch the output. The throttle controller is new but was functioning normally for many flights previously so you think it would not have this issue. Once I introduced a deadband on this hat switch my problem went away. Just food for thought.

Howdy Folks,

Yes me too. I’m new to MSFS 2024 and I’ve tried flying with a Grass Monkey Puck head tracker and no head tracking but still the camera drifts in the cockpit……very annoying as we can see.

I’m looking for a fix. Maybe it’s an MS update thing.

Interesting and good thoughts. I think my hotas has issues like dirty contacts and such. It was a used item so maybe it’s seen better days.

Yep, hat switch on my Thrustmaster TCA Boeing Yoke. Disabled it and problem gone.
