Cockpit Viewing Height - How to adjust?

It may have been mentioned in one of the 5,000 posts about the recent update but I can’t find it. Does anyone know how to adjust (vertically) the pilots POV seat height? Used to just be done with the num pad arrow keys but now they seem to be controlling the aircraft (undoubtedly connected to the X-Box).

Any info is most welcome.

Alt + Arrow (up, down, left and right) ?

In my case it is just the regular cursor up and down keys…

Moving the view up with the arrow keys doesn’t save that height. When you press the reset cockpit camera view, it will return to the default view (with default height).

I think the OP wants to know how to set the default cockpit view to be a bit higher (or lower) than it is now. I also suspect that the height would be different for each aircraft.

I have the same question. And how do you save the new view?

spacebar works for me

In the Camera settings, Camera Height.

On the keyboard works for me.

Once you get the cockpit view where you want you do a CTRL-Left ALT key + number key 0-9 to save so I save my default Cockpit view using CTRL- L ALT + 5 key and to pull that back I setup a key I press to use Left ALT key +5 to go back to that view.

I do this too and assigned Alt + 4 …
I then simulated a perfect CTD by accidentally pressing Alt + F4 the nearby key.
This is the Windows shortcut to Close Active Window.

Exactly that - the default camera position is too low but that setting will adjust it for all aircraft.

I made a wishlist post for it ages ago but it didn’t gain much traction:

Unfortunately, the child-sized pilot view looks like it’s destined to be the default forever… :unamused:

I decided to re-run a couple of the new training flights recently, just out of curiosity. On the attitude lesson there are red lines in front of the pilot, to mark the horizon and climb/dive attitude, which are modelled as if they are drawn on the windscreen, but with anything other than the default camera height of ‘50’ means the lines are in completely the wrong place for the lesson! Not very useful… I made a Zendesk report for it.
