Hi everyone,
Coffs Harbour, New South Wales, in the Robinson R66 Turbine. MSFS 2024, VR. About 28 minutes down the mid-north coast.
Out over the racecourse with the little lake sitting inside the oval, then offshore to South Solitary Island and the 1880 lighthouse, back in along the breakwater and the Jetty, the old granite quarries cut into the cliff, Jordan Esplanade with the dunes creeping onto the asphalt — then inland over St John the Evangelist, the Memorial Olympic Pool and Fitzroy Oval, the TAFE campus, and down on the rooftop helipad at Coffs Harbour Health Campus.
I fly with an AI in the other seat (something I’m building, still rough). I point at the ground. She names it.
She also got one wrong, three times in a row: she kept telling me the hospital helipad was at ground level while I was looking straight at the H on the roof. She only gave in when I told her to look at the image again — and then apologised for being stubborn. That is in the video too.
Not a highlight reel — the whole hop is in.
Fly safe,
VR Flights 73
This is Track On Air — a limited series of test flights while we build the app. Human + AI in the cockpit: we tune the conversation, what the flight asks for, and the system we’re still finishing. Wins go up. Fails go up too.
Not a highlight reel. Microsoft Flight Simulator, in VR. And along the way we keep discovering the world — one sky at a time.

Track
An AI companion for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024: cockpit voice interaction, gaze tracking, and flight-context awareness. What you hear in these videos is the app we are currently building. There is no version available for home installation just yet.
Want to be among the first to test it when the beta opens? Send an email to rvalle7@icloud.com with the subject line “Track.” Rafael will get back to you.
