Combining multi throttle aircraft using a single throttle

Can someone offer some advice. I am using an older Saitek X35T throttle to fly in MS Flight Sim 2020. Is there a way to set up MS Flight sim to control, for example, both throttles simultaneously in a Cessna Citation CJ4. My setup only controls the left side engine, then I have to use the mouse to set the second.

Thanks

I’m not in front of the sim right now, but if you go into controls and select the Throttle you are using, you should be able to bind both engines to the one control you have. Probably someone will pop in with exact instructions before I get back.
Good luck,
Mark

It should usually work. If I’m not wrong you would need to set “THROTTLE 1 AXIS” and “THROTTLE 2 AXIS” to the same slider. Make sure to select “ALL” rather than “ASSIGNED” or “ESSENTIAL” when searching for controls.

The only thing I’m wondering is why your controller doesn’t have a working preset. Saitek controllers don’t sound like they’d usually be considered generic.

for my warthog I dont set anything for individual throttles (throttle 1 axis, throttle 2-4, etc.)
there is a plain old throttle axis that will control them all.

EDIT
forgot to mention I use the right throttle as the throttle for all engines, and mapped the left throttle to the speedbrakes as I have been flying the Lattitude and Longitude exclusively lately.
Also check out the Working Title CJ4 mod if you haven’t already.
