Hi - I’m building a home sim using Xbox and the Thrustmaster Hotas One. I want to connect rudder pedals (Turtle Beach) to the Hotas, but can’t seem to find a cable that fits into the Hotas rudder port. Would anybody know what that would be? I tried an RJ12, but it doesn’t fit. Thanks in advance.
Unfortunately you cannot combine ThurstMaster and Turtle Beach. Only the ThrustMaster rudders will work with the HOTAS One X.
The Turtle Beach rudders need the Turtle Beach Velocity One Yoke or the Flight stick to use the rudders with “pass through” mode for Xbox.
I have to have my rudders connected to my yoke, and use my HOTAS on a separate USB bus.
Ugh - thanks. Anyone want some rudder pedals
I would definitely hang on to those Turtle Beach Rudders, they are way better than the ThurstMasters. The TB pedals are the best pedals for Xbox currently. They are smooth and have many more features than any other peripheral. I would ditch the Thrustmaster first considering those are very cheap. (I’ve gone through 4 of those HOTAS since 2019.) I seriously suggest getting a turtle beach flight stick, or the yoke to make those rudders work. You’ll be very disappointed getting thrustmaster pedals.
Yeah. Giving that some serious thought after reading the Thrustmaster pedal reviews
