So youve run the dslreports test and it tells you no bufferbloat or at least minimal. If thats the case then you need to talk to your ISP they’re going to be the only one with the behind the scenes info/knowledge to help you it seems.
Yeah, I’m completely disappointed with Microsoft. They earned a lot of money with msfs and they didn’t have the ability to improve Azure servers to support the number of players.
I sent a ticket to the support, let’s see what happens.

i am glad to read that there are more people having the issue i am having. Since Patch number 2 After WU5 i am offline even though in the top right corner it says that i am online. but marketplace is grey, my graphics look not very good. i have no data flow . all my online connections are on. but i am offline all the time. I cant even Sign Out . It says that i am getting signed out but when i start the sim again, i am still “Online” even though i am not. thats very confusing. I wait patiently for some solution

Solved for me formating Windows and reinstalling msfs, 100% fine now.
That’s odd because in my case it is the other way around. I have to turn on VPN to connect msfs.
It may depend on which VPN I suppose (Nord in my case). Sometimes I will immediately get a “no connection” warning. Sometimes the sim will load normally without any warnings, but shortly will experience periodic freezes/stalls at regular intervals. Once I figured this out, I just turn off the VPN when using the sim.
Yesterday I had a flight of 1h40m.
This was between 19:00 - 22:00 GMT.
Within this time frame the connection lost warning popped up like 10 times, telling me that I’ve lost my connection.
After clicking the OK button it will take a few seconds seeing the connection is back again.
I live in the Netherlands.

Since this issue is still present, I voice it has to be fixed. And to be clear, the problem is not our own internet connection, it can be anywhere in between, but that’s totally not the point.
The real issue is that this dialog box makes all controls unresponsive and you have to click it away, which is especially tedious in VR. It just botched my otherwise almost perfect landing and that caused immediate hate for that popup in me
Why isn’t there just a warning indicator somewhere in the corner of the screen showing that there might be a problem? The dialog box taking away the controls from us is absolutely superfluous and simply just annoying, almost like an ad.
let me tell you guys the story. yesterday i register on netflix. probably first time i make typo in my email, but for netflix that’s not problem, they just without email confirmation register you, then i get i can not change email by phone but could ligin with not mine email. after chat with support kind person solve this problem, but that’s not the end… then i open movie and that’s stuff was in awful quality, i ask them "hey, i understand it’s probably not all movies as fhd or uhd just want to ask how long to wait it will better… and we are start the quest to solve second problem(about video quality) problem was - if you download movie, that film download with bad quality (1.8gb) and then stream with same bad quality… so i get it… next day. ah. so i register two days ago, not yesterday. next day i open some movie and it’s in same ugly pixelated quality. 3 different guys try to help me. last of them even sent me instruction from the help page, what to ask my internet provider. but you know what. i open other movie and everything was ok. another - all right. etc. so they so long try to help me about problem they just can not solve. because some movies on server just with low quality, and for sure you have to found it somewhere else. but another watch on netflix. with msfs situation about same… some time the server overloaded, one of many of them, certain server what you connected with… and whatever you will do, however long time you will do same, for fix it. nothing will change situation. except lost your time. you will read useless posts like mine, do stuff same useless for fix situation, that you just can not fix… because if your network good outside msfs it’s have to be good inside msfs. that’s it. but it will not only, if server of msfs you connected right now is overloaded. same if on netflix servers absent movie x in good quality, you will not found movie x in good quality on netflix. sure same about hulu amazon or any other online movie service. the more you flight the more probability you accidently will connect to bad way server and catch that problem… so some guys of us even didn’t see that from 2020, and other guys had this problem hundred times in the year. in my experience in msfs i had days with 0 disconnections. and had days with 5 disconnections with same provider plan many years. so i just took it as is. same as took things in netflix as is. just some external things ar present in the world, we can not change in one day. but probably the more post in threads like this one, the more chances msfs servers become strongest
