Hopefully Asobo can address the server issues in general! This is pretty much becoming a weekly issue (we had a different type of server related issue just about a week/ a week and a half ago). Reliability is the key if Asobo/MSFT is looking for loyal customers and a good customer base for the current and future Sim.
These endless server issues bode really well for FS2024.
Is there a fix?
I am getting constant offline/online/offline/online etc and have never experienced this before today. Very annoying. Changing from US East to West seems to have no effect.
Edit: now getting 2 notifications per disconnect or reconnect, so 4 total each time it cycles, which happens every 30 seconds or so. Making these banners less intrusive would be a start, but I thought this was already something fixed in AAU2?

Literally was just my thought as well; everything going to the cloud sure makes me nervous for days like this in MSFS 2024.
Looks like the issue was reported about 2 hours ago. However, Iām having constant server disconnect issues as well. Glad I came here before I started looking at possible issues on my end.

Got the same the last days. But right now it is going on/off all the time. Not coming from my end, my internet connection is stable.
This is extremely annoying and actually very worrisome for the future when MSFSF2024 should rely even more on a stable connection to the cloud.
Same hereā¦ so annoying, even more annoying that theyāve refused to make the notification subtle, or even non-existent. Thatās fine if thereās no internet, just tell me when I go into the menu or something, I donāt need to see a massive red box pop up in the middle of the screen. Just let me fly even if itāsā¦ hell, I dunnoā¦ offline..??
I decided to make flight plan over the ocean and turn off data.

Yes, here too, UK 00:15 UTC. Then while looking at this forum the sim did a CTD. On starting it again Iām getting an update required similar to what happened after the last sim update which then destroyed my frame rate and visuals in VR. Iāll look again tomorrow. Late night TV instead! Only put the sim on to troubleshoot another issue.

PC, Windows 10, Store MSFS version, East US Serverā¦ I started the sim and had a CTD after checking for updates. I restarted and found an update (to WU7?) in Content Manager. I then started getting disconnect/reconnect messages every few seconds and restarted the sim. The load screen changed to 40th Anniversary (typically indicates connection problems) and I started a flight, which probably had more disconnect/reconnect messages than I have seen since day 1 purchase. My FPS was significantly lower than normal, and the connection stutters made flying extremely difficult. I restarted and had another update then frequent disconnect/reconnect messages. I restarted again and received another update with a dash where the download size typically is shown, then watched the 40th Anniversary page with no title and now I am again sitting disconnected. I have signed out and back in with no improvement. The Support and Release Notes page has shown āErrorā under the two links. I am restarting againā¦ No joy.
This is quite irritating. Iām about to quit playing this game altogether. I was all set to do a longer flight, but these issues made me stop the game and go do something else. It seems problems like this are becoming more frequent.
I was getting this error while planning my flight. I ended up quitting the simulator.
