Crash to desktop without error, only works in offline mode!

pc #CTDs #Crash to desktop without error

Microsoft Store version

Hello, I have problems with the game when going to the loading window after checking for updates the game closes and goes to the desktop, I have reinstalled the OS twice and the game 7 and the same thing continues. I already played it a year ago when it came out and I was doing very well.

Intel(R) Core™ i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz 2.80 GHz
RAM 16.0 GB (15.9 GB usable)
Windows 10 Home
version 21H1
OS build 19043.1202

I have contacted the technical service but the possible solutions that they have sent me, none have worked

i have the same problem, and if you disconnect your ethernet during the update checking you can start the game offline and everything is OK , but if you reconnect the ethernet cable you’ll ■■■■■■ up again.

1 month and nothing from MFS dev

If I have already done it, I had the language pack in the US, I have uninstalled it and installed it again. I have reinstalled the audio drivers, I have closed the session in xbox and microsft store and I have restarted the pc but it does not work for me

have you removed all tools like Asus Sonic *** ( note: there is similar stuff for older msi boards ) and checked that in case there exist a service ( windows services ) called “Nahimic” is disabled ?

If so, the I have only in mind the windows virtual memory. Is a guess and is normaly not related to 409, but can have strange effects and your system have ‘only’ 16GIG RAM. Have you checked the current pagefile size ?

your solution are useless dude, cause i have the same error, and the game start if i am offline only. So we can see it’s a software or hardware problem but a problem from microsoft server

No, I don’t have addons installed

The weird thing is that before it worked perfectly for me, now when I have reinstalled it and this happens. And now it only works offline

Yeah weird I ain’t never had or seen this problem before  I can’t tell you right now I’m sorry… :grimacing: :pensive:

I have looked for that service and I do not have it, I have also increased the paggefile size, but the game works well for me offline, and if I connect the internet it closes

yes,.. pagefile was more or like a “may be”.

Currently running out of ideas. The usually reasons you checked already. We know that account issues also cause that crash, therefore these re-login(-restart) procedure with the xbox-app. But there are also users where the anti-virus solution blocked somewhat. Last two ideas I have for the moment is to check that you have MSFS added to exclusion list of anti-vir tools and/or disabled all anti-virus/firewall/.. tools for a test-case.

The second one is a bit rare, but there was cases where users changed pieces of hardware and run then into an issue because of the settings which are stored into the cloud. But I’am not sure about the error number in that case and that you can play offline points also more to the account issue.

I’am not sure whether support can check your accounting… or may be other users bring new ideas into the discussion.
