Still got the same issue as OP. Already lost over 1.5 mil for repairs bc of this stupid bug. It worked 1 time a few days ago until my autopilot decided to nose dive into the ocean.
Doesnt matter if i skip or I dont.
Really frustrating experience, i first grinded 11.2 mil for the saab cargo only to find out that no missions spawn and grinded another 11 mil only to find out saab passenger doesnt work either.
i lost 50 mil on the 737. The game want me to fix it for 90 mil, so the money i spend on buying the used one is just gone. a lot of hours were in there. disapointing and frustrating. and i’m angry that the support don’t offer any help.
yes happening to me with my Freelancer passenger missions using the ES30 as well as the crop sprayer now. I’ve lost so much time and CR it’s wild to the glitches in this game and they hardly even acknowledge it is what it is … let alone compensate… but here is to hoping I guess.
I had this today again, this time as employe with the skycrane, but this time i could see how the world is loading, me spawning way above the ground falling down (with the warning i’m to far of the mission away and it could fail). short after my character landed on the ground, i get the msg that the plane has crashed and the mission failled. is it possible that this is causing this problem, that the planes are spawning in the air before the airport is loaded and than crashing into the ground, depending on how high they were, the more damage they’ll have. On the ES-30 i allways had “only” the gear broken, on the 737 is a total wreck. hope this helps to find the bug.
I don’t think we should expect any compensation for a single player game. I wouldn’t be surprised if at some point they have to do a grand character reset and we all have to start from scratch. Maybe then players can get a monetary bonus? Probably not.
We have created an internal ticket to see if our team already has this logged, and if not they will attempt to reproduce the issue and create a new bug report. This item is now marked as feedback-logged. If there is an existing bug report or one is created, we will move this thread to bug-logged.
Yes! Same issue with Saab 340. I do not have any other planes to check but it screwed my landing gear and had to pay 200k so I’m not going to try again until this is fixed.
Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
• Career mode. Light transport mission. Get in plane, Mission Failed Left Parking Stand. Crash to desktop.

• Wow. I have been doing missions to save up. Just hit 800k. This bug is now coasting me half that to fix an airplane that I NEVER DAMAGED.
If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:
• This is shithouse.
Having the same issue with the hybrid plane. Walk out to do my preflight inspections, as soon as I get into the cockpit the game kicks me out with a mission failure. “You left the parking stand before completing the ground handling process”.
Tried it twice, cost me over a quarter of a million credits.
How is Asobo going to reimburse me for releasing a broken product?

• Had the same issue today with the G36, apon entering the aircraft the outside was blurry, then the mission failed “because I left the parking spot before finishing ground handling”.
Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• Plane might have fallen through the ground? Had the same in my turboprop certification the first time I tried it (fell throught the ground and failed certification), and also the same aftermath: When I try further missions, I can’t see outside the windows any more - they are black. Have to restart the sim to get rid of that.

Still very, very annoying bug, making passenger missions (a few) hit and (mostly) miss. I tried to find a pattern, but haven’t found one, yet.
It happens more often when the airplane is parked at a parking stand (not at a gate), but I had it in both scenarios. BTW, haven’t had a full CTD. But always two destroyed landing gears and blown tyres.
It does not matter if you walk around the plane before or just enter
It does not matter if the same mission in Employee-mode selects a different plane model or if it has the same
I double checked the throttle setting and it is at exactly 0.0%. I thought the game might see a 0.1% throttle and thinks you want to move. However, engines are not even running at that time.
If I only could find a workaround until the bug is fixed…
Assuming this one is still open and known? Haven’t fired up the sim to find out (more cash burned), though I see this topic is still only feedback-logged and has yet to change to bug-logged ?

VIP charter specifically. Doesn’t matter the aircraft

I’m having the same issue for any aircraft I use when I’m trying to perform a VIP charter service. Passenger is loaded. Aircraft has started up properly. Start to taxi after getting clearance. Then the screen saying I haven’t completed handling procedures. WTH???
no change with the new beta so far, 1 out of 5 saab 340 flights get through to taxi without the error, same for 737’s if you are not at a gate. If you are at a gate in the 737 its maybe 1 in 2 that it works. If its in your own plane you will pay for damage to gear, the plane seems to drop from 50 feet somewhere in the background.
