Creating the MSFS version of the Short Skyvan turboprop plane!

Happy new year to all!
I am working hard on materials now. Technically the plane is almost completed, it flies well and most of the systems are operative.
I am trying to take the leap to the realistic texturing, both inside and outside; the new level reached by MSFS planes is very high, and requires a lot of knowledge and also… artistic capabilities.
I finally got the windshield working with scratches, fingerprints and dirt, and raindrops moving with the airspeed. I am improving lighting, inside and out, an now I am dealing with rivets “ribbons” and slightly bumpy metal.
Another big improvement was to completely split interior from exterior model, so they can be used toghether in external and internal view. This allows a complete exterior model visible from the cabin (wings, engines, lights) and a fully detailed and working cockpit in the external view (with pilots inside a complete cabin with working gauges, backlighting, displays).
This is done by activating “with interior show exterior = true” and “with exterior show interior = true” but it works only if both models are perfectly complementary, with no redundant parts and accurate matching of each part.
Here are the wings in the basic version

and here are the wings with more realistic (but not yet accurate) texturing

still a long way to go…
