Brief description of the issue:

Two flights, one inbound, one outbound YMML and I had one freeze and one crash caused by VCRUNTIME140.dll. Both crashes happened more on less on the same point around 15/20 miles southwest of YMML airport. I have no sceneries installed in all Australia apart from WU Australia.

Have you read my thread or not?

can you please share the exact location ? Best with VFR screen, etc…

We have a parallel topic from the old “grammar” issue, where exact that happens ( not sure whether is was already split into seperat topic : 100% reproducible CTD at specific coordinates for months [grammar.pggmod] - #172 by MichaMMA ). Some time with a vcruntime.dll , some times with a ntdll, etc.

I don’t have the exact location: I was flying the CORRS9 departure out of YMML rwy 34 and it crashed just after passing waypoint GEDEN. At the moment I don’t have time to test again.

The other crash happened on the WAREN7A arrival inbound YMML around the same location, so 15/20 miles southwest of YMML.

hmmm… rnw34 …I not 100% sure… but if I remember correct there is a topic where I already tested that

yep… think not exact same location, but it was near what I checked ( the dotted line )

EDIT: and I found it

but so far I understood, that special thing was gone with SU10… Thus… we need the coords for rechecking whether it happends allways or it was one of the other possible reasons for a vcruntime issue.

Not sure what the topic you linked have to do with my issue.

a vcruntime issue in the area around YMML, YMEN

Ok, my mistake sorry. BTW I stated the crash occurs southwest, but obviously it’s actually southeast of the airport given the route of the CORRS9 departure and WAREN7A arrival

yep, at least in that area… I remember I can’t reproduce the old issue, may be if you have then again bit time and you can reproduce and share the coords, we can also try to reproduce that. And if more users can do that, it can possible become a bug state

Ok, I’ve just flew the CORRS9 out of 34 in YMML and I flew a ILS rwy 26 landing in YMEN with the default C172 and I had no crashes.

So I assume that the crash is both casual and not casual because it happened two times in the same place.

Given that the last time I had crashes before SU9 I had to reinstall everything to get rid of them, I’m open to any other suggestions other than reinstalling everything.

I would then test with the airplane you got the crash, as a recheck. I remember as example a case, where the “Analog ***” mods caused a crash only ( I remember it was the radar, or something else ).

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?

yes

Same issue here mate, I was doing a flight from YSSY this arvo, when on Approach to RWY 27 i had a CTD. Seems to happen nearly every time around YMML same thing kept happening when flying from Hobart around WAREN waypoint.

FYI - i only have CTD on Approach not Take offs

In the meantime I’ve made tons of flight without issues, so given that more people are reporting this, there’s something specific in this area.
