CTD upon sim start "the instructions at 0x00007ff referenced memory error"

Hello everyone.

I’ve been using the sim for 4 years without any issues, but recently I started getting a specific error at around 80% of the initial sim loading screen. The error message is the dreaded “the instructions at 0x00007ff referenced memory error”.

I tried the following things but had no success:
-removed community folder
-removed other mods from the packages folder
-performed a ram check
-updated nvidia drivers and windows
-did a sfc scannow
-uninstalled and reinstalled msfs

I can’t think of anything else I could do, does anyone have ideas?

If you are in the Oculus beta, revert back to the stable version.

Once you’ve enrolled in the Public Test Channel, you can choose to leave at any time by returning to the Beta section of the Oculus PC app and clicking next to Public Test Channel. If you unenrol from the Public Test Channel, you may need to restart your device before the changes occur.
