ISSUE DESCRIPTION
Description of the issue:
Until now I could not even enter the Customise Identity menu. The sim just permamently showed a white circle and had to exit the game to get out.
Now I can get into that menu but clicking on anything to modify my identity causes a CTD
Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?

Start Sim
Goto Cutomise Identity menu
Click anyhing to attempt to change identity → CTD.

What peripherals are you using, if relevant:

I reinstalled the FS, but the same problem is still there.
I Can take a look at the Co-Pilot, but the FS crashes, if I will select a face or even click on Body or the other folders.
Same for me. I reinstalled the game today and same issue. Very annoying as I cannot walk around the plane because of this bug… Is there somewhere we can report this ?
Tried a uninstall/reinstall via the store and Add/Remove programs. As suspected, my current status was remembered so the sim didn’t reset to the installation wizard and any selection in customise identity resulted in CTD.
However deleting the contents of the ‘wgs’ folder ( see (Advice Required: How to do a complete reset of MSFS 2024) did reset the sim to the first time run wizard. Unfortunately, when it got to customise identity the usual CTD occurred straight away if selecting a face, for instance.
I noticed in the customise identity section under Apparel, Headwear has a selection of headwear and Uniforms has a selection of uniforms. But Eyeware, Tops, Legwear and Footwear had nothing to select at all. These selections didn’t populate however long I left the sim running so I expect there must be missing files for these items at least.
Can anyone confirm if the items missing for me are present for them? i.e. if they see anything in Apparel besides Headwear and Uniforms.
“Complete” uninstall means removing MSFS2024 in Xbox app then manually deleting any folders that get left behind.
I don’t know what you mean by "Which maps?”
(But note that this thread is from Nov 2024 and a lot of things have changed since then. If you’re having a specific problem with character customisation then you should create a new thread).
