Anybody else had all their custom views deleted across all aircraft after today’s update?

Yes, mine have disappeared as well. Another weeks worth of work lost. Every update results in a good week of not able to fly because I am fixing all the stuff the update changed from my customizations.

Yep, sorry for you, but glad it is not just me.
I sort of wouldn’t mind if the updates were any good, but they just break stuff usually. Live weather still a mess. What was the point of the beta test, where everyone was saying the new weather system using METAR’s is rubbish, for them just to carry on with it in this update. Should have used this update to restore the old weather system
Yes, mine were erased.
Mine were too. LEaving the beta caused a “new install” of the main MSFS package file. I made a backup a few months ago so was thankfully able to make a backup.
If you want to make your own backup, the files are stored in here (for MS Store):
C:\Users\(USERNAME)\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\SimObjects\Airplanes

Here as well. These should be synced to the cloud if possible rather than being stored locally.

+me. And I did not participate in Beta. Also for some planes, like C-172 Classic it does not allow me to recreate views.
Yep same here. Will not participate in beta again. My community folder was also emptied!
It seems the entire contents of AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache including all settings, community folder and Asobo packages were deleted, and are recreated after launching the new executable downloaded from the store to replace the beta…Many hours of customizations lost, not for the first time. You must create a backup of this folder before joining any of these programs since they are the only way to revert back from the beta into the ga version (as people found ,only dropping out in xbox insider didn’t revert the files back) , right now performing this restore is also being required…

My custom cameras are still intact, I was in Beta but got out before the update, I have Steam version.
Did you really create this topic just to post yet another off-topic rant about the weather?
