Ah yeah, there is no animtion and it moves back and forth slowly.

Sadly my 5+ years of CAD experience doesnt translate into animations of MFS models :confused:

Im having an issue where about 5-10 minutes into a flight I lose both engines. I will take off and be in the climb and all of a sudden I’ll notice I’m losing airspeed. I then looked over and saw that the ā€œloadā€ on both engines was 0. I tried to restart the engines both manually and by using CTRL+E with no joy. I’ll have electric power, hydraulic power for gear/flaps, and full control of the flight controls but no matter what I do I can’t get the engines back on. When I get back on the ground they will fire back up no problem.

I checked the incompatibility list and I don’t believe that I’m using any of the listed mods, and the livery I’m using is one of the recommended da40/62 repaint ones. I am flying with OnAir, I’m not sure if that would be causing any issues?

Anyone have any ideas I could try to make it work properly or any ideas of something I’m doing wrong?

Do you properly reduce the power? 100% cannot be sustained forever, it’s just for takeoff / Go-Around.
You must reduce to 90-95% maximum (climb performance) usually when you put back your flaps after takeoff (around 500-1000ft AGL maximum).

Ok thanks! I think you are right, the two times that this has happened to me I was leaving full throttle to try and climb a little fasteršŸ˜‰, just tried with power to about 90-95% and no issues! My next question, is there any visual indication that this is happening? such as oil temp or something or possibly a master caution/warning to alert us to this.

Hei guys,

I found that the fuel density is always set to 0,802 kg/m^3. Which would be okey for jet fuel but not for AVGAS/MOGAS.
I know that the DA40/DA62 is using jet fuel but I am wondering if you can change the setting of fuel density aircraft wise?

Hello, following a message in this thread from @blusopra, I also suffering from a lack of steering wheel during take off (when a reach 30knots and above) and landing, the only way to keep center line is to use differential breaks which shouldn’t occur during take off. I was slipping to the left more surprisingly same side the wind was coming (Crosswind was only 12Knots from the left for information).

Is this come from the default aircraft ? @MrTommymxr is it possible for you to do something with regards to this issue ? :pray:

I have found a fix for this issue:

Go to your ā€œCOMMUNITYā€ folder, then DA62X folder/SimObjects/Airplanes/Asobo_DA62/flight_model
Open the flight_model file with text editor, find the following line:

rudder_limit = 10 ; Rudder max deflection angle (absolute value) (DEGREES)

change it to:

rudder_limit = 20 ; Rudder max deflection angle (absolute value) (DEGREES)

10 Degrees seems an extremely limited angle for the rudder deflection, the DA40 mod for example has 20 degrees too.

Save the file and start your sim… let me know.

ECU test button is not working anymore after update 1.13.16.0. Love your work and need new update please :smiley: @MrTommymxr

Was the engine warmed up? The gearbox needs to be above 35°C.

I’m a bit full this week, latest end of next week.

Didn’t sure gearbox temp is above 35C, but the engine already running for 5 minutes. anyway, it’s not a big problem, as long it not fly weirdly it’s still ok

Really works now mod v 0.3 after update 1.13.16.0, because on 16 january 2021 you say me that version 0.3.1 was broken.

Mod works fine mostly. Craft lifts off by itself at 85 knots without joystick input - that’s new. Still magnitudes better than default.
