Can also confirm. I was on 40% but had done all the events labelled as Spotlight events under Activities > Landing Challenges > Famous/Epic etc
Popped for me on v1.37.4.0 when loading into game (before main menu)
If you load in and don’t get a pop, check achievement progress and try doing the landing challenges that are labelled ‘Spotlight Events’ and progress should be awarded
For me too it went from 40% to 70% with the latest SU15 beta update.
For me it doesn’t work still. I completed the “Spotlight Landing Challenge” that’s on the main menu tile, but the achievement tracker is still stuck at 60%. I’ve already completed this one with a very high score, maybe I should achieve a higher score in order for it to count? That wouldn’t really be possible.
Where do you see these “Spotlight Events” labels? I’ve checked the Landing Challenges in the Activities menu but they all have a simple tile and a grade, no labels at all.
Check the in-game store. There is a pack that has all previous challenges which can be downloaded for free. These now count towards Decathlon so try those. Your score shouldn’t matter, just as long as you have successfully completed the challenge.
Okay, having downloaded the “Spotlight Event Pack” from the marketplace, I can also confirm that these landing challenges count and the achievement now unlocks.

Confirmed that this achievement now works with the SU15 beta (v.1.37.4.0).
For me it worked too like a charm.
And also “Ice and Fire” can now be obtained by redoing the final leg.
Does is apply to the Anemoi achievement as well, by any chance?
Edit: Yes it does! I can confirm the Anemoi achievement pops as well. I completed the last leg of the Balkans bush trip (without autopilot, just in case), and the achievement unlocked immediately! 
Now MSFS is 1000/1000 for me, finally.
All 3 Bush Trip achievements now pop under the latest SU15 beta patch. A glorious day! I had essentially stopped playing the game, knowing these achievements were broken. Thanks to @RufousJayes for the tip!

I think it was because I had put so many hours into attempting the achievements that I felt let down they weren’t working. Don’t get me wrong… the bush trips are still worth playing, achievements or not, @TheBlackWind977!

I got them all. I now have completed the game 1000/1000. Got all the achievements!
I’m still at 71/100 on the 1000 hr achievement. I have more time than that, but for some reason it hasn’t always picked up. My in game flight time shows 900 hrs and I’m pretty sure it’s a lot more than that. I’m sure it’ll get there as it hasn’t stopped counting.
well, i know it is kinda cheesy, but if you go into free flight, start somewhere, fly, give controls to your AI pilot, then press the windows button and go to your time and date, unturn the automatic date, so you can manually set time and date, just forward time by 2 months and voila , achievement unlocked.
lol i went from 350 hours, now i have 5400+ hours flown 
I was very excited for today’s SU15 drop and the fix so I can complete all achievements. Seems we’ll have to wait until April. Wish I was daring enough to do the beta release
